Facebook gets sweet

Apologies for the generic image here but Googling ‘Facebook sweet’ didn’t quite bring up the types of images we were searching for. So, a new Facebook app allows its users to send each other real life chocolate bars. The Mars branded ‘celebrate’ app lets users select a friend and type of sweets to send then pay via gift tokens on their PayPal account. The recipient receives a message in their Facebook inbox asking for their mobile number which is used to send them a voucher via SMS. This can then be redeemed at PayPoint retailers.

GUI MAGS

When simple ideas become powerful tools. WhizzKit have created a pretty handy set of magnets to help define UIs. You can write on them and put them on a whiteboard when you are prototyping an application. Much nicer than all that messy whiteboard ink.
