Facebook makes a U-Turn
During this morning’s routine check of facebook we were presented with this message: “Over the past few days, we have received a lot of feedback about the new terms we posted two weeks ago. Because of this response, we have decided to return to our previous Terms of Use while we resolve the issues that people have raised. For more information, visit the Facebook Blog.”Posted February 18, 2009 9:51 am by Alex Horner 0 Comments

Iran: The world’s third largest nation of bloggers
Whodathunkit? No longer a tool of young tech-savvy nerds or even large corporations reaching out to their consumers, blogs are being used to shape the opinion of a nation.Posted February 10, 2009 11:22 am by Alex Horner 0 Comments

Google Latitude helps you stalk your friends
2009’s biggest trend so far: location-based services. Google Labs has unveiled a new addition to Maps that allows users to see where their friends are currently located by plotting them on a map. You can see the location of anyone you know (who has opted into the service, naturally) as well as their current status using your mobile or an iGoogle gadget. So for example, my friend Vladimir might be ‘playing tennis’ and I can see from his location that he’s in a North London tennis club.Posted February 4, 2009 4:47 pm by Alex Horner 0 Comments

Cash4Gold is real. Really terrible.
So the 2009 Superbowl’s been and gone and brought with it a plethora of outrageously expensive ads. You can check them all out here. Our favourite? Why, Cash4Gold of course. There’s one problem though: it’s real. We watched the entire ad waiting for the comical twist at the end. Surely something endorsed by MC Hammer and advertising posting solid gold through the post must be a joke right? Wrong.Posted February 4, 2009 4:36 pm by Alex Horner 0 Comments
